Residents across the BCP region are invited to come together and celebrate the 100^th release of Les Mills™ BODYCOMBAT.

Two free-to-attend supersized fitness classes will be hosted at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Saturday 28 September 2024 from 9am-12pm.

BH Live Active instructors will lead everyone through their favourite BODYCOMBAT routines before showcasing the much anticipated BODYCOMBAT 100 routine.

This special event has been organised by BH Live, a registered charity and social enterprise, whose mission is to encourage more people to participate in physical activity.

As well as the BIC, BH Live also runs leisure centres in Bournemouth and East Dorset. These include Littledown, Stokewood, Pelhams, Queen’s Park, Sir David English Sports Centre and Corfe Mullen where Les Mills™ classes are a longstanding favourite with customers.

The class brings together elements of functional training as well as martial arts including Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu in a fun and easy-to-follow way. Instructors coach participants through the various hooks, jabs and uppercuts, with alternative movements suitable for both advanced and beginner experienced levels also demonstrated. It is suitable for all abilities and people aged 14 years and upwards. It is not recommended for those who are pregnant.

On the day, BH Live will be supporting Macmillan Caring Locally, a local hospice charity. Representatives from the charity will be in attendance if any participants would like to donate. Both virtual and physical donations will be accepted. A raffle will also be available on the day with all proceeds donated to the charity.
