BH Live Active, Queen’s Park, a Bournemouth based leisure centre managed by registered charity BH Live, is on track to open its doors on Monday 10 July 2023.

Customers will be able to use the centre’s gym, group cycle studio and attend daily exercise classes on a pay as you go basis or as part of a BH Live Active multisite membership.

BH Live Active membership also includes access to gyms, swimming pools, spa facilities and exercise classes at Littledown, Pelhams, Stokewood, Sir David English Sports Centre and BH Live Active, Corfe Mullen (facilities vary at each centre).

Since BH Live announced the opening plans for Queen’s Park, the charity has been recruiting a team and carrying out improvements.

The centre’s group cycle studio has been fitted with brand new Technogym bikes for instructor-led and virtual classes. The group exercise studio has been refreshed and upgraded with Les Mills SMART TECH equipment. A new group exercise timetable with daily classes such as Les Mills BodyPump, Sprint, RPM, BodyAttack is also being created. Wellness classes include yoga, Pilates and Les Mills BodyBalance.

New features include secure customer access with tap-in gates, plus free customer parking for up to 2.5 hours per visit. The whole centre is being decorated and refreshed throughout. Its Terrace café will also be opening offering free customer WiFi, hot and cold drinks including juices, protein snacks, plus a grab-and-go menu. We’ll also be opening the bar for live sport events and matches.

The class timetable for BH Live Active, Queen’s Park will be online and on the BH Live Active app, seven days ahead of opening.

The crèche, pool and spa at Queen’s Park will remain closed however alternative swimming and spa facilities are available at nearby centres.
