Bringing the fun with new party experiences across Dorset and Portsmouth

Planning a birthday or special celebration? We have introduced a variety of new activity-based party options that aim to keep everyone of all ages entertained, active, and smiling.

From inflatable obstacle courses and soft play areas to climbing walls and pool parties, we have expanded our party offering across centres in Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and surrounding areas. The latest additions include several high-energy inflatable challenges, both in the pool and sports halls, designed to make birthday parties and other celebrations a memorable experience.

In Bournemouth, kids can brave the Raptor Run in the pool at Pelhams, an aquatic assault course featuring obstacles, spikes, and a slide. Over at the Sir David English Sports Centre, AirJumpX in the sports hall combines a slam dunk challenge, giant slide, and wipe-out balls. Meanwhile, Littledown’s main pool hosts Crusher—a climbing and sliding inflatable course that offers a serious splash of fun.

Portsmouth visitors aren’t left out, with AquaDash at Mountbatten Leisure Centre delivering more water-based thrills, and Ninjair offering a Ninja Warrior-style inflatable course, designed especially for private parties.

For younger children or those after something more low-key, soft play parties, footy events, and wet and wacky sessions continue to be popular, with options available across multiple centres.

Catering and party theming can be handled by our team, but self-catering options are available too*. There are even private hire packages available for those seeking something a little more exclusive.

Booking a party has also been simplified, with a new booking system allowing customers to plan and confirm their event in just a few clicks.

More information on activities, venues, and bookings is available at bhliveactive.org.uk/active-parties.

*Self-catering is available at Sir David English Sports Centre, Stokewood, Charter Community Sports Centre, and Portsmouth Gymnastics & Tennis Centre.
