More time. More challenges. More fun. MountAirX and MountAirXL sessions at Mountbatten Leisure Centre now last 90 minutes, giving visitors even more inflatable adventure at no extra cost.

Launching just in time for the summer holidays, the longer sessions give children and families an extra 30 minutes to bounce, climb, slide, and tackle the giant inflatable obstacle course that's become a firm favourite with families across Portsmouth.

Since arriving at Mountbatten Leisure Centre last autumn, MountAirX has welcomed thousands of visitors, building on BH Live Active’s growing junior activities timetable designed to help children and young people have fun while keeping active.

MountAirX is a thrilling, high-energy experience featuring a range of exciting elements. Bounce, slide, and climb your way through the Wipeout balls, Jelly Mountain, Volcano Slide, Freefall, Double Slide, and the X Zone. Whether you're challenging yourself to stay balanced on the wobbly Jelly Mountain or racing down the fast slides, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Double the size, double the fun! Spanning the entire sports hall, MountAirXL is packed with exciting challenges, including the Wipeout Balls, Beat the Wall challenge, and interactive Trailblazer climbing wall. With 12 action-packed features to explore, it's the perfect way for energetic youngsters to climb, jump, race, and play.

Building on the attraction's popularity, BH Live introduced dedicated Under 5s and SEND sessions earlier this year to give even more children opportunities to enjoy the MountAirX experience. With fewer participants per session, these 50-minute activities offer a calmer, more comfortable environment for children to explore, play, and build confidence at their own pace.

MountAirX joins a range of family attractions available at Mountbatten Leisure Centre, including AquaDash! and Clip 'N Climb. With swimming lessons, family gym sessions, gymnastics, athletics, trampolining, and many more activities available at BH Live Active leisure centres across the city, there’s tons to keep families active this summer.

Mountbatten Leisure Centre is operated by BH Live, a registered charity and social enterprise, on behalf of Portsmouth City Council.

Sessions are available on a pay-as-you-go basis and can be booked online, via the BH Live Active app, or in centre. Advance booking is recommended, especially during busy holiday periods.
