Portsmouth’s largest indoor soft play and bounce attraction – Exploria at Pyramids in Southsea – is celebrating its third birthday with a bumper number of attendees and a great lineup of money-saving offers during its birthday week.
Since opening, Exploria has hosted more than 3,000 birthday parties and welcomed more than a quarter of a million attendances. With dedicated bounce zones, themed party rooms, foam pits, battle beams, tunnels, and so much more, Exploria offers tons of fun whatever the weather for children aged 6 months and upwards.
To celebrate its third birthday, From Monday 12 August through to Sunday 18 2024, Exploria will be hosting a week of money saving offers to inspire more young people to jump, bounce, and play their way this summer. These include admissions offers, discounted party bookings, giveaways, and much more*.
Furthermore, on Friday 16 August 2024, crew members from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue service will be stationed outside Exploria from 11am. Budding little firefighters will be able to take pictures with the fire crew, climb and explore the firetruck and find out more about all the great work the service does for the local community.
Pyramids and Exploria are owned by Portsmouth City Council and operated in partnership with registered charity and social enterprise BH Live.
Exploria opened in 2021 thanks to a major multi-million pound partnership investment at Pyramids by Portsmouth City Council and registered charity and social enterprise BH Live.

“We invested nearly £4million into the refurbishment of the Pyramids site, including the creation of Exploria, which continues to be incredibly popular with families from the city and beyond. Across Portsmouth, we have invested £20m in sports facilities since 2017 with more to come in future."
Exploria has a café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals. To improve accessibility, a changing places toilet facility was installed in 2023 by Portsmouth City Council. Future plans for the park include growing its party offer and adding extra play features.
