Following its successful launch last summer, the South Terrace (located behind Pyramids in Southsea) is returning for another season of al fresco food, drink and more!
Opening on Saturday 4 April 2026, and just in time for the Easter holidays, the South Terrace café and bar is just a short walk away from Southsea’s prom. There’s stunning sea views across the Solent. Accessible to all, with ramped access, it’s a great spot for residents, dog walkers, and visitors to unwind.
Open seven days a week (weather dependent) from 12pm, the South Terrace will be serving up a delicious range of refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, coffees, pizzas, toasties, sandwiches, paninis, and sweet treats such as ice creams, muffins, and doughnuts.
Mathijs Pol, BH Live’s Head of Hospitality said;
“Following everyone’s support and great feedback from last year, it’s fantastic to be reopening the South Terrace at Pyramids. We are so lucky to be in such a fantastic spot with amazing views; it’s is the perfect place to relax enjoy some delicious refreshments.
“Everyone is welcome (including well-behaved dogs!)to make the most of the longer (and hopefully warmer!) days.”
The South Terrace at Pyramids will also be open during festivals and sporting events throughout the year (opening times and menu may vary). A challenge 25 policy is in place for anyone purchasing alcohol which must be consumed on the premises.
Public toilets and baby changing facilities, operated by Portsmouth City Council, are located along the promenade. Accessible toilet facilities are available inside Exploria at Pyramids during centre opening times.
