“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Clip ‘N Climb at the Mountbatten Leisure Centre. It's a great way for young people to challenge themselves, try a new activity, and have fun staying active.”

The Clip ‘N Climb facility temporarily closed while Portsmouth City Council’s contractors carried out essential maintenance and repairs as part of a £6.6 million roof replacement project. The project is set to be completed in June 2025.

Cllr Lee Hunt, Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Leisure and Sport at Portsmouth City Council said:

I'm delighted that Clip 'N Climb at the Mountbatten Centre can now reopen following the recent renovation. This work means the facility can now be enjoyed for many more years to come.

"We have more exciting developments planned in the coming years, all aimed at securing a sustainable future for sport and leisure in Portsmouth."
