BH Live Active teams celebrate industry recognition

Teams at BH Live Active's Littledown, Stokewood, and Pelhams leisure centres are celebrating after each facility achieved a Very Good rating through Quest, the UK leisure industry's leading quality assessment scheme.

Delivered by Right Directions in partnership with Sport England, Quest recognises leisure centres that provide high-quality facilities, services and experiences for their communities.

The independent assessment looks at areas including customer experience, accessibility, cleanliness, facility management and community impact.

Assessors praised all three centres for their welcoming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable teams, high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, and commitment to helping people lead healthier, more active lives. During mystery visits, colleagues were highlighted for being approachable, professional and helpful, while the centres' inclusive programmes and community focus were also recognised.

At Littledown, assessors highlighted the centre's "excellent customer service" and “friendly and approachable teams” alongside its commitment to health and wellbeing, customer experience, and high standards of presentation throughout the facility. The report also praised colleagues for their professionalism and the welcoming atmosphere created for customers.

Pelhams was recognised for offering a "highly accessible and inclusive programme", supporting people of different ages, abilities, and health needs through a wide range of activities and wellbeing initiatives. Assessors also noted the centre's strong community focus, knowledgeable staff, and positive customer experience.

Meanwhile, Stokewood was commended for its quality facilities and friendly environment. Assessors described the centre as having a "great atmosphere" and praised the team's commitment to continually improving services for customers and the local community

Littledown, Pelhams, and Stokewood are operated by the registered charity and social enterprise BH Live in partnership with BCP Council.
