Get active this Easter!

Young people and families across Dorset and Hampshire can look forward to an action‑packed Easter break with a fun‑filled line‑up of activities at BH Live Active leisure and sports centres in Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and Southampton.

BH Live, a registered charity and social enterprise, has expanded its BH Live Active junior activity programme to help children of all ages stay active, burn off energy, and enjoy time together throughout the school holidays, whatever the weather brings.

Older children aged 8+ can get moving at fitness sessions, including Family Gym, Junior Gym, Family Yoga, and many more*. These welcoming classes encourage young people to build healthy habits while giving families the chance to enjoy fitness side-by-side.

For families looking to make a splash, Wet & Wacky sessions are back with even more availability. Held at BH Live Active pools across Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and Southampton, this much‑loved water play experience is packed with inflatables, floats, and water toys for guaranteed giggles.

There’s plenty of fun to be had at BH Live Active attractions too. From pool inflatables such as brand-new Rumble Run at Stokewood Leisure Centre in Bournemouth, and indoor bounce attractions such as MountAirXL at Mountbatten Leisure Centre in Portsmouth, families can reach new heights of fun with exhilarating sliding, climbing, and bouncing features.

Families can browse BH Live Active’s full school holiday timetable to discover what’s happening at their local leisure centre and plan their perfect day out. Terrace cafés in selected centres will also be serving up hot and cold drinks, snack, meals and treats.

Plus, all under‑5s can swim for free at BH Live Active pools in Southampton and Bournemouth when accompanied by a full‑paying adult or an adult BH Live Active member. Under 12s in Portsmouth can also benefit from this initiative.
