Great news! Sir David English Sports Centre’s gym has reopened following a major transformation

Our gym has been completely transformed into a welcoming and engaging space for everyone to enjoy a fantastic workout.

Featuring state-of-the-art Pulse Fitness gym equipment, the gym’s cardio area has been upgraded with the latest treadmills, cross-trainers, stair climbers, and rowing machines. With interactive screens, virtual training options and performance tracking technology, the new setup has been designed to offer a more engaging way to exercise.

Our redesigned strength area includes plate-loaded machines to enhance our resistance training offering. Following customer demand, brand-new to the centre is a plate-loaded leg press, a functional training rig, and a four-station cable tower.

Located a short distance from Bournemouth town centre and close to the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, BH Live Active, Sir David English offers access to high-quality fitness facilities including a cardio zone, free weights, functional fitness, sports hall, and free parking.

BH Live Active, Sir David English also offers a wide range of fitness classes. Classes include Les Mills, yoga, group cycling, and much more. These are available to members and pay as you go on a weekly basis.
