Situated near Southampton City Centre, BH Live Active, The Quays is one of only four High Performance Centres for diving in the UK.
There is a 10m diving board with an 18m diving pool, with public swim sessions and swimming lessons taking place in a separate 25m main pool. Waterslides offer splashing fun for families and individuals, feeding into The Lagoon pool complete with interactive water features.
With a well-equipped gym complete with cardio and strength areas, group exercise classes are delivered in dedicated studios.
A café with a seating area is also available on-site.

Welcome to The Quays

Our gyms in Southampton hold a great range of cardio and resistance training machines, a functional training area, and a great range of free weights and racks for strength training. Gym sessions only require booking for pay as you go sessions.

Home of the Southampton Diving Academy, The Quays is one of just four high-performance centres for diving in the UK. Featuring a dedicated diving pool with platforms up to 10m and a fully equipped dryland dive gym, our facilities provide the ideal environment for beginners through to elite athletes to learn, develop and excel.

Diving

Taught by our star group fitness instructors, our classes at BH Live Active are more than just a workout. Stay motivated by exercising with other people, with a wide range of the latest fitness classes available. From mind &amp; body to strength &amp; conditioning, you’ll never have trouble finding a workout.

Fitness Classes

Our junior activities gives children the opportunity to stay healthy and active. We have a variety of activities including Wet &amp; Wacky pool sessions to Junior Gym. There is something for everyone in our centres across Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth and Southampton.

Whether you are looking for lane swimming, group exercise classes in the water, family fun sessions or swimming lessons, we have something for everyone.

Swimming

Relax and unwind following your workout in our spa includes a sauna and steam room (over 16s only). 
General Guidelines:

 <li>Members must bring their membership band/card/sticker to access the spa </li>
 <li>No phones or food are permitted in the spa area </li>
 <li>Please read health and safety posters before entering the spa (located on poolside) </li>
 <li>Non-Members can pay for use of the spa at customer service</li>
